Jo-Anne van Draanen graduated with degrees in psychology and sociology, and then went on to earn her Master’s in Art Therapy. She has over 20 years of diverse experience as a highly skilled, registered psychotherapist and art therapist, and she has provided training and counseling to a broad client base of both adults and children. In addition, Jo-Anne has extensive training and experience in conflict management, mediation, negotiation, coaching, and facilitation.
Known for her clinical skills and the results her clients have achieved, Jo-Anne strives for all of her clients to not only to reach their therapeutic goals and life goals, but also enjoy their therapeutic process in a caring and compassionate environment. She has created a private practice in art therapy and psychotherapy which reflects her values of a results-driven practice in a warm, non-judgemental and welcoming environment.
